But, let's not get too excited about cost. Yes, it's more expensive than any foundation I've ever purchased. However. I got a very hefty discount because a friend works at a particular store and scored me the best of all holiday discounts. I love my friends.

I chose shade 5 - Light (neutral with warm undertones).

Well. I'm convinced this is the best foundation I've ever used. It's better than the original Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. It's got a much lighter, thinner consistency. Because it's a serum foundation, it isn't heavy. It glides across the skin. And, it has that Augustinus Bader goodness I keep hearing about.

I have no idea what the Bader excitement is all about but this foundation is so unbelievably smooth, so easy to apply, and makes my skin look like it has invisible pores with the perfect level of luminosity. An adult glow. There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful it is.

It's not bougie if it works for you and you love it.
