How many nude lipsticks do I have? 5? 10? Maybe more? When I put it in writing, it looks awfully creepy. But, the search is real.
Nude is funny. When I see a nude lipstick and think it’s the perfect one, it might very well be that perfect shade but the texture is usually the key. For me, it has to be full-bodied, but sheer. Nude, with a touch of pink. Peach? A very teeny bit.
And then there’s Chantecaille Lip Veil in Tamboti. It's the perfect blend of creamy and slightly sheer. The shade is that perfect mid-tone nude with a pinch of pink. It looks like my own lip color, but elevated. And, better yet, it applies like a balm and slowly disappears without looking weird.
To add to the perfection, Chantecaille's Lip Veil is free of parabens and phthalates plus they donate a portion of the purchase to Space for Giants, an organization that helps protect elephants and their migration path in Africa. That’s something I can definitely support.
Chantecaille, Lip Veil $48
